At the 48th annual international summer theatre festival Zvolen Castle Plays, which took place from 3 June 2022 to 12 June 2022, on 6 June, the audience could also see the production of the Academy of Arts Theatre with the performance Naša trieda directed by Ljuboslav Majeru. Against the backdrop of real historical events, the author of the text, Tadeusz Słobodzianek, captures the Polish-Jewish relations of classmates in one class, before, during and after the war.

As part of this year's edition, FDU Martina Chmelanová, Simona Kaščáková and Juraj Hajnal also participated in a workshop with DEBRIS COMPANY (Vlk and Vlčeková). The movement workshop focused on creating physical actions, reactions and situations observed from everyday reality, on working with breath and touch as an essential moment of mutual listening and searching, and last but not least, it is focused on building a common pace, on perceiving and feeling a common energy, being in the present moment. The output of this workshop could be seen by the audience on June 10.
FDU doctoral student Stanislav Králik captured the festival events behind the camera again this year, and thanks to him, we were able to watch the video diaries of Festival Minutes.
The International Summer Theatre Festival Castle Plays of Zvolen (ZHZ) is the oldest open-air theatre festival in Slovakia. The organizer is the JG Tajovského Theatre (DJGT) in Zvolen in cooperation with the Slovak National Gallery – Castle Zvolen and with the support of the City of Zvolen. It takes place every year in June.
