The individual is nothing, the whole is everything! In a healthy body, a healthy spirit! Be true to yourself, to truth and justice! These are just some of the slogans of the Sokol movement, which was founded in 1862 and still unites thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world. Every six years they meet in Prague to demonstrate the power of their movement and its values by performing spectacular mass exercises. On the Mark! is a film about the joys and sorrows of the Sokols, determined to create a perfect whole from imperfect individuals.
The feature debut Na znářky! by director and doctoral student of the Department of Documentary Filmmaking FDU AU BB, Mária Pinčíková, won the Mayor's Award at the Piešťany IFF Cinematik.
The renowned Cinematik.doc competition brought the best of the past Slovak documentary crop.
Congratulations and we keep our fingers crossed for your continued success!
