Students from the Department of Acting Kevin Ivanko and Andrej Bílik represented FDU at the GUČA festival of arts with works by Milan Lasica and Július Satinský. The composition of songs and lyrics consisted of the books L&S and Uncle Klobásu's Tales. In the band called Someone Was Behind the Door, texts such as Little Night Uprising, Driver's Monologue, Concert for Drum and Axe, and the fairy tales What Made My Shorts From and The Truth About Bells were performed.
The GUČA Art Festival was founded in the spring of 2013 by three friends - Martin Maľa, Matej Fekiač and Martin Cerovský as an effort to bring a new, for this rural region, view of art to Zvolenská Slatina. The first year of this multi-genre festival, which is full of music, theatre, discussions and visual art, took place in the summer of 2013. This year's edition took place on Saturday, July 27, 2021.
We thank our students for representing the faculty, but also for paying tribute to Milan Lasic.
