Agreement on mutual cooperation with the Military Police

Two worlds that seemingly cannot be connected have found common ground. Acting and the Military Police. Within the Military Police, the Vlkanová - Hronsek Department of Crisis Management, Training and Cynology (OKMVaK) is the guarantor of the training of Military Police officers. Practical training is focused on real activities of Military Police officers, which they may encounter in the performance of their work. Accordingly, model situations simulating the environment and authentic activities were included in the courses and trainings so that they were as close to reality as possible. Members of the training department have so far actively acted as figurants in these model situations. However, since the participants knew them, they did not perceive the model situations as completely real.
Due to the authenticity of the model situations, psychologist Mgr. Ivan Sopoliga, who is one of the group of instructors who created the practical training of model situations, approached the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in 2020 with the possibility of cooperation. And that's when this non-standard and exceptional cooperation began to emerge. Acting students are able to quickly improvise and react in various simulated situations, create different characters or types, analyze the situation retrospectively, provide constructive feedback and have the opportunity to experience a unique authentic experience.
On February 16, 2022, we sealed this inter-institutional cooperation at FDU by signing the Agreement on Mutual Cooperation and also talked about other options for further developing this cooperation on both sides.
The agreement was signed by the Dean FDU AU BB doc. Mgr. art. Ľubomír Viluda, ArtD. and the Director of the Military Police Col. Ing. Valentín Cebo.
Also present were the Director of OKMVaK Vlkanová – Hronsek Col. Ing. Marián Turanský and the Vice-Dean for Art, Science, Research and International Relations Mgr. art. Soňa Kočanová, ArtD.
