The focus of the lecture is the structure and consequences of the phenomena of power and violence, as portrayed and reflected by Sarah Kane in the drama Blasted (Blasted, 1995). The CUV VŠMU is currently preparing the publication Anthology of Modern Hungarian Drama. At the theatre book fairs you have the opportunity to listen to excerpts from selected dramatic texts from this publication performed by students of the Faculty of Theatre, VŠMU. The staged reading was prepared by Karol Rédli (translation) and Marek Lupták (direction).

I. block: Miloš Mistrík and Michaela Mojžišová will introduce prominent personalities of world theatre Jacques Dalcroze - composer, musician and music pedagogue, and Peter Konwitschne - renowned European opera director.
II. block: Dagmar Podmaková will present the upcoming publication about 100 years of the Slovak National Theatre, in which she will focus on the productions and creators of our first stage. Karol Mišovic will present the publication Topics on the Margin of Interest? and will shift attention to our presence. The discussion will be led by Elena Knopová.
